Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is setting records not only on the field but also off the field. On Tuesday (25/08/2020), Kohli became the first Asian to cross 75 million followers on Instagram
Overall, Kohli stands 29th on the worldlist and has the fourth – highest number of followers amongst sports persons after Cristiano Ronaldo (238 million), Lionel Messi (164 million), and Neymar (141 million). Kohli recently over took NBA star LeBron James (69 million).
The next best number by an Asian is Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra with 56 million followers, followed by Deepika Padukone with 52 million followers.
